Available: Multiple full-time Speech-Language Pathologist positions in Riverview, FL supporting school-aged children across a diverse district. These onsite contract roles focus on providing comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy within public schools.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations for preschoolers aged 3 within the ChildFind program (flexible schedule, 1-5 days per week)
- Providing targeted, time-specific support to students at various schools, including short weekly sessions and multi-day weekly caseloads
- Collaborating with school staff to address student communication needs
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation for all student evaluations and services
Key locations where services are required:
- Multiple sites throughout the district with some immediate openings at Frost Elementary, Guinta Middle School, and Mann Middle School
- Other sites with upcoming starts include Armwood High School (Dec start) and Collins PK-8 (March start)
- Positions report onsite only, no remote options
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathology license required
- Certificates of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings preferred
- Must be able to commit to onsite service delivery with flexible availability based on caseload needs
