Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Missouri SLP or SLPA license
- Experience with non-verbal students and familiarity with AAC technology is highly beneficial
- Must fulfill district-mandated credentialing including fingerprinting (submit TCN number) and completion of a technology agreement form
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and site assignments as district needs evolve
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services in a school-based setting
- Manage a caseload encompassing approximately 3400 minutes of services across 1-2 schools
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans for students, including those requiring AAC support
- Monitor and document student progress, collaborating with staff and families for optimal outcomes
- Maintain compliance with district and state reporting standards
- Adjust to evolving assignments in response to changing student needs within the district
