Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders
- Active SLP licensure in Minnesota along with a current PELSB credential
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with elementary-aged children, is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to engage with students, families, and faculty
- High level of organization and initiative in managing caseload and documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-5 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student growth
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Support and participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and district initiatives
