Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid SLP licensure for practice in Minnesota
- Experience in a school-based or early childhood education setting
- Competence in evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation for students aged birth to five
- Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic, student-centered environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services addressing communication, speech, and language needs of early childhood students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with families and staff
- Conduct assessments and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Complete timely documentation, progress reports, and maintain compliance with school and district policies
- Provide guidance and strategies to teachers and parents to support student progress
- Participate in any summer evaluations as needed
