A contract position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary students in Anoka, MN. This onsite role involves working at an elementary school providing specialized speech-language services to a diverse student population.
Location:
Anoka, MN (Elementary School Setting)
Assignment Details:
- Duration: May 22 – June 4, 2026 (end of current school year), with full coverage for the first semester of the next school year (September 4 – December 23, 2026)
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (37.5 hours per week)
- Caseload: Mixed elementary student population
- Students Served: Approximately 47 students total, with 28 students requiring case management
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required
- Experience working within school settings and managing diverse caseloads is highly valued
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapeutic treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Manage individualized education programs (IEPs) and maintain detailed case documentation for assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress and ensure effective communication strategies
- Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to the needs of elementary-aged children
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment
