School Speech Language Pathologist - Saint Paul, Minnesota
This temporary Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role offers the opportunity to provide essential speech therapy services within a K-12 school setting in Minnesota. The position focuses on covering multiple maternity leaves across elementary and middle schools, delivering direct therapy services to students on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in a 3:1 service delivery model (three weeks of direct services followed by one week of indirect services).
- Manage a caseload typical of elementary schools, including students in specialized Setting III CDC classrooms.
- Deliver therapy-only services, as evaluations are handled by a separate team.
- Collaborate with school staff to support student communication needs.
- Work onsite in various buildings according to the maternity leave coverage schedule.
Qualifications and Experience:
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credentials preferred.
- Eligibility to work in a K-12 school environment.
- Ability to provide therapy services in a school setting with an understanding of student needs across elementary and middle school levels.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage caseload and collaborate with educators.
Location and Schedule:
- Onsite positions located in Minnesota schools (Anoka and surrounding areas).
- Full-time hours, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week).
- Contract duration varies based on maternity leave schedules with multiple start and end dates.
