This full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers an opportunity to support K-21 students across multiple school settings in St. Louis, MO. You will work directly on-site in a contract role from ASAP through June 3, 2026, providing comprehensive speech therapy services within a range of educational environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload of students, including those using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining detailed records and progress reports
- Adapting therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of students in mainstream and self-contained settings
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Missouri state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with children and adolescents in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school locations
This role requires on-site presence in St. Louis schools including Bernard Middle School, Riverview Elementary, and Southview School, with a caseload that may include up to 45 students per location. The position offers 37.5 hours per week of meaningful clinical work supporting speech-language development for students ages K-21.
