Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting student growth as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist for a contract role beginning August 2026 and ending May 2027. This position involves itinerant support across multiple school sites, serving a dynamic Pre K–12 population with mild to moderate caseloads averaging around 60 students. Each day brings fresh experiences and collaboration as you help students reach essential communication milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Current Florida Department of Health SLP license (active and in good standing)
  • Experience in Pre K–12 education settings preferred
  • Previous handling of school-based caseloads is an asset
  • Ability to travel between multiple campuses as needed
  • Flexibility to work with a range of age groups and student needs
  • Must complete Florida Department of Education fingerprinting requirements; prior prints through the AHCA Clearinghouse may expedite the process with proper verification

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assessment and therapy to students from Pre K through high school
  • Serve mild to moderate caseloads and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to state and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
  • Travel between assigned schools in the district based on current needs
