Although the primary assignment is at Lemasters Elementary, flexibility is key—there may be occasions to provide services at a second location if needed. Key Qualifications:
- Active Missouri SLP or SLPA license required
- Experience working with school-age children, especially those who are non-verbal or use AAC devices, is highly valued
- Flexibility and adaptability to shifting caseloads or school assignments
- Strong collaboration skills to work alongside teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to meeting credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting and technology compliance
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary students, focused on individualized education plans
- Support non-verbal students in utilizing AAC devices for effective communication
- Manage approximately 3,400 service minutes, primarily at one elementary school, with occasional support at a second site
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district standards
- Participate in team meetings, student evaluations, and progress reviews
