Speech-Language Pathologist in Sacramento, CA
Serving as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting based in Sacramento, CA, this full-time contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication and learning abilities. You will provide onsite services throughout the current and upcoming school year, typically managing caseloads across two schools, with various caseload options to fit your strengths.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring to students with diverse communication needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state regulations and reporting standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development and utilize mentorship resources to enhance clinical skills
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license and California Teaching Credential (CTC) in the relevant discipline
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
- Experience working in school environments with diverse pediatric caseloads
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
