Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Elk Grove, CA
Speech-Language Pathologist needed to provide specialized therapy services in a school setting located in Elk Grove, CA. This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality care to pediatric and school-aged populations, helping students improve their speech and language skills through tailored treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting specific communication goals
- Provide direct therapy sessions and adjust interventions as needed to maximize outcomes
- Track and document student progress with detailed records
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated support
- Involve and educate families to enhance therapeutic success and engagement
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged clients highly desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and team members
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative relationships
Additional Requirements:
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in California
- Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology is mandatory
