Key Requirements:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Recent experience in a school-based setting
- Teletherapy experience highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to create individualized therapy plans and track progress
- Comfortable using digital platforms for virtual sessions when needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to students (in person and/or virtually)
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to develop tailored intervention plans
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adapt strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting
- Utilize a variety of resources and tools to keep students engaged in both virtual and traditional settings
- Stay current with best practices in school-based speech therapy
