School-Based SLP | Rosamond, California
Make an impact in education by providing essential speech-language services to TK-5th grade students on a full-time contract basis. This position offers the opportunity to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, supporting young learners and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive school environment.
If you are passionate about helping children find their voice and thrive in the classroom, your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will play a crucial role in student development. Licensed SLPs with CCC certification are strongly encouraged to apply. Experience in school settings and comfort managing the full range of responsibilities—including both direct therapy and comprehensive case management—will set you up for success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Valid SLP licensure and CCC certification
- Experience working with TK-5th grade students in a school setting preferred
- Comfortable delivering the full continuum of speech services: direct intervention, IEP development, and assessments/evaluations
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- CTC credential preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to a diverse population of elementary students
- Complete assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and develop individualized plans in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for services provided
- Consult with teachers and staff to support inclusive classroom practices
