Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or eligibility for expedited licensure
- Strong ability to develop individualized treatment and therapy plans
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) that promote student progress
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Work closely with classroom teachers, parents, and special education staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and report on student outcomes
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Educate staff and families on communication strategies and supports
