We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Roebuck, SC for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced SLPs as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY/CFs) looking to gain valuable school-based experience while making a positive impact on students' communication development.
The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide comprehensive speech and language services to K-8 students, including evaluations, assessments, therapy services, and IEP participation.
Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff regarding student progress
- Ensure compliance with state and district regulations
- Support students with speech, language, communication, articulation, fluency, voice, and pragmatic language needs
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist License required
- CFY Candidates Welcome to Apply
- Prior school-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Position Details
- August 2026 – June 2027 assignment
- K-8 caseload (currently being finalized)
- Full-time schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week
- Part-time candidates will also be considered
- Paid travel time for itinerant services when applicable
- All hours worked within the contracted schedule are compensated
