Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Rochester, Illinois
Exciting contract opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a dynamic school environment near Rochester, IL! This part-time role is ideal for dedicated professionals passionate about working with middle and high school students. You'll be responsible for providing services to a small caseload across one campus, with paid travel and itinerant responsibilities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Illinois SLP licensure and Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- CCC-SLP preferred, but applicants in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered
- Experience with pediatric and school-based populations, especially middle and high school
- Familiarity with IEP systems; training provided upon onboarding
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to 6-9 students
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district guidelines
- Travel between assigned locations (itinerant duties included)
- Ensure therapy and administrative time is well managed, with paid indirect hours for documentation and meetings

- Part-time hours: approximately 8 hours per week, one day per week
