Speech and Language Pathologist in Riverview, FL
Provide speech-language pathology services in a dynamic school setting within the Bradenton, FL area, supporting students at multiple elementary schools. This contract role offers the opportunity to work directly on-site with diverse groups of young learners, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Early Childhood Special Education (ESE), and integrated pre-kindergarten programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students in Title 1 schools, addressing a range of communication disorders.
- Collaborate with school staff and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school district policies and timelines.
- Support caseloads across Ballard Elementary, Sea Breeze Elementary, Harvey Elementary, and Abel Elementary schools.
- Adapt therapy to meet the unique needs of students in ASD classrooms, ESE early childhood programs, and integrated pre-kindergarten settings.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license.
- Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree considered in some cases.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly valued; candidates in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in school-based SLP services preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work onsite full-time or part-time as required; flexible scheduling across assigned schools.
