School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Riverside, California
Bring your expertise and passion for speech-language therapy to an engaging educational environment supporting students for the full school year. This contract opportunity is ideal for dedicated professionals with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who enjoy collaborating with educators and positively impacting young learners.
You will work onsite from 8 AM to 4 PM at elementary school campuses, helping students communicate successfully and thrive academically. Your experience in school-based speech-language pathology will be vital in meeting the unique needs of the student population. Both positions are focused on direct services—no supervision of SLPAs is required, and teletherapy is not part of the role.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and active CCC
- Demonstrated experience providing speech-language services in school settings
- Skilled in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of speech/language disorders in children
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and deliver evidence-based interventions to students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
- Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ IEP goals and progress
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute meaningful input to support student growth
