Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with diverse communication needs in a collaborative educational environment. This full-time role is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist seeking hands-on experience working with elementary students. With a caseload of 47, you’ll make a measurable difference in both DHH-Auditory Oral and Autism support classrooms.

Your schedule will follow traditional school hours, totaling 37.5 hours weekly. Start as soon as possible and continue through July 20th, with the potential to extend into the next school year, providing consistent support to students and staff. You’ll work closely with educators, families, and other specialists in a supportive setting where professional growth is valued.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current CCC-SLP certification required
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Experience in school-based and pediatric SLP settings preferred
  • Strong background working with children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) and/or on the Autism spectrum
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt assessment and intervention strategies to diverse cultural and linguistic needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech therapy services to elementary students
  • Manage IEPs, progress monitoring, and relevant documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student goals with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver support in both DHH-Auditory Oral and Autism-focused classrooms
  • Offer effective consultation and guidance to teachers and families
  • Implement evidence-based practices for communication, social skills, and language development
