Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Rio Rancho, New Mexico

Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active New Mexico License in Speech-Language Pathology from the New Mexico Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board
- New Mexico License issued by the PED Ancillary and Support Services
- Background in pediatrics, schools, CFY, or healthcare settings preferred
- Clinical competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, articulation, and language disorders in students PreK–12
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for eligible students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with district and state regulations
- Administer assessments and participate in eligibility meetings, progress monitoring, and annual reviews
- Consult with staff to design classroom strategies that foster an inclusive environment
