Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Arizona SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services
- Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational abilities and adaptability within dynamic school settings
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes
- Deliver both direct and consultative services, adapting strategies to meet unique student needs
- Serve as a supportive, knowledgeable resource for school staff regarding speech-language challenges and interventions
