Speech Language Pathologist in Rillito, AZ

Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity supporting high school students in the Rillito, AZ area. This full-time, full school year role caters to a diverse caseload of approximately 60-70 students, providing speech-language services across three high school campuses. The majority of your time will be spent at Mountain View, with additional responsibilities at Vista and MCAT. You’ll address a range of needs, from mild articulation challenges to more complex cases including ASD diagnoses in adaptive cluster programs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy for high school students with mild to severe disabilities
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Travel between assigned school sites (itinerant role)
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes and evaluation reports
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to support diverse learners
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active, valid standard certification required for Arizona schools
- IVP fingerprint card (current and active)
- Experience with a range of disorders, including articulation, ASD, and adaptive needs
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills
