What you’ll need to succeed:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience providing services in a school environment preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process, student documentation, and progress tracking
- Excellent communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to working onsite, as all services must be delivered in person
Your key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Conduct assessments, create and implement IEP goals, and monitor student progress
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation for all services provided
- Provide consultation, resources, and support to teachers and families to promote students’ communication development
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborative team activities
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
