A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Richmond, VA, supporting K-5 students with communication needs. This contract position aligns with the 25/26 school year and offers a consistent schedule of 38-40 hours per week. The caseload focuses primarily on early childhood and elementary education, providing valuable experience in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to K-5 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation
- Supervise Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) when applicable
- Work within established school policies, excluding voice therapy (no voice disorders caseload)
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-5
- Ability to start on or after August 18th
- Willingness to supervise SLPAs as needed
- Strong communication and organizational skills
