School-Based SLP | Savannah, Georgia
This full-time role requires a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Georgia SLP license and GaPSC certification to provide vital speech therapy services for K-8 students. Based onsite in Savannah, GA, you will work 37.5 hours per week in a dynamic school environment, supporting children’s communication development and enhancing their educational experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) certification
- Experience working with K-8 school-age children preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators and families
- Ability to provide individualized therapy plans and progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to students in a middle school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation according to state and school guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all licensure and certification requirements within the state of Georgia
