Pediatric School Speech Therapist | Hampstead, North Carolina

An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC or CFY certification to serve an elementary school setting in Hampstead, NC. This contract position spans the current school year, from ASAP through June 11, 2026, providing support to students from kindergarten through 5th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students with identified needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a caseload of approximately 45 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support communication development
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and participate in team meetings
- Provide direct therapeutic services 39 hours per week within the school environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or provisionally certified through Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred, working with pediatric populations (K-5)
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders and therapeutic strategies
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in an elementary school approximately one hour north of Wilmington, NC
- Full-time schedule, 39 hours per week, during the school calendar year
