A K-12 educational setting in Plano, TX is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to serve a hybrid contract role for the current school year through May 29, 2026. This position will support approximately 100 students and provide essential speech-language services to meet individualized education program (IEP) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations for students across grades K-12
- Manage and oversee the work of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Participate in and lead IEP meetings to determine and adjust service plans
- Maintain caseload and ensure compliance with all federal and state educational guidelines
- Collaborate with educators and families to promote student communication development
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid Texas SLP license with CCC certification
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Ability to supervise SLPA services effectively
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and developing IEP goals
- Strong communication and organizational skills
