Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Reseda, California
Step into a role supporting elementary students as a contracted Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. In this part-time position, you’ll have the rewarding opportunity to foster communication and language development in a vibrant school community. Working 15 hours per week, you'll collaborate with educators, families, and other support professionals to ensure students receive the services they need to succeed.
Candidates will bring strong knowledge in pediatric speech therapy and an enthusiasm for making a positive impact. Whether you have your Certificate of Clinical Competence or are working toward completing your Clinical Fellowship Year, your expertise will be valued.
Qualifications:
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology License
- Valid California CTC (Commission on Teacher Credentialing)
- Background in school-based SLP work, pediatrics, or healthcare settings
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
- Strong assessment and progress-monitoring skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct SLP services to elementary-aged students, both individually and in groups
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each child’s needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational plans
- Communicate progress with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
