Key Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State SLP licensure/certification required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Strong background working with K–12 caseloads in educational settings
  • Must be fingerprinted through OSPI prior to start
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy strategies to individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a caseload of up to 45 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student progress
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and best practice sharing
