School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Renton, Washington

As a valued SLP on this team, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to provide comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse caseload of up to 45 students. Your expertise will ensure each student thrives in their learning environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Washington SLP licensure and CCC certification
- Authorization and fingerprint clearance through OSPI
- Experience in school-based settings and working with K-12 students
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students K-12
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress toward goals
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and student progress in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families regarding student needs and strategies for classroom support
- Participate in IEP meetings and advocacy for students’ speech-language needs
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices
