Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State SLP Licensure/Certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Must complete fingerprinting through OSPI prior to start
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Passion for working with K-12 students of varying backgrounds and needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain required records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct therapy and consultation services across the K-12 spectrum
- Educate and empower teachers and families to reinforce student success
- Remain up-to-date with best practices and compliance requirements
