School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Kent, Washington
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide services for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year, with an immediate start available. This full-time contract position supports an elementary caseload of approximately 38 students and is based in Port Orchard, WA. The assignment may extend through the summer to address compensatory services, providing continuity of care for students.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary students, adapting services to meet individual needs.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress in accordance with district guidelines.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student communication goals.
- Adapt therapy services for remote/virtual learning environments, ensuring effective service delivery during school closures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfort and proficiency with technology to support teletherapy and remote learning.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing educational environments.
- Willingness to work full time at 37.5 hours per week.
