School Speech Language Pathologist - Red Rock, AZ
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students’ communication and educational growth across three high school sites. This full-time, full-school-year position centers on serving a diverse caseload of approximately 60-70 students with mild to severe disabilities, ranging from articulation disorders to Autism Spectrum Disorder, including those in adaptive cluster programs. Your primary focus will be at one high school, with the remainder of your students located at two nearby sites, offering the chance to collaborate with a range of staff and impact multiple school communities.
Ideal candidates are passionate about student success and eager to work within a supportive, itinerant team. An active standard certification and an IVP fingerprint card are both required. Whether you are a Clinical Fellow ready to launch your career or a seasoned SLP, your expertise will help students achieve their goals. There is also flexibility for a highly experienced SLPA under strong supervision.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid, active SLP certification (CCC preferred, CFs considered)
- Current IVP fingerprint clearance card
- Experience with school-aged populations strongly preferred
- Ability to manage a broad range of disabilities and adapt to different learning styles
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Comfort traveling between sites in an itinerant role
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and provide direct therapy
- Partner with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Track and document student data for compliance and reporting
- Support and, when appropriate, mentor an experienced SLPA
