A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available starting in late November, offering a dynamic role within an elementary school setting. This position involves working directly with students to support their communication development and speech-language needs. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:45 PM, providing a consistent routine and ample time for collaboration with educational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students.
- Manage an elementary caseload focused on developing students’ communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support individualized education plans.
- Utilize evidence-based practices tailored to pediatric speech and language needs.
- Participate in team meetings and maintain detailed documentation.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience or interest in pediatric speech therapy within a school or healthcare setting.
- Openness to teletherapy services as part of therapy provision.
- Candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) roles in school or healthcare contexts is beneficial.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location and Work Type:
- This is a travel-based position located in Randolph, NJ, providing exposure to diverse pediatric caseloads.
