School Speech Language Pathologist - Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students across Victorville and Needles with your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist. You’ll work onsite with K-12 students, utilizing your SLP skills and CCC certification to make a difference in young learners’ lives. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with supportive SLPA professionals and contribute to students’ communication growth throughout the school year.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) experience in a school setting
- Active state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- CTC Clear Credential required
- Comfortable providing in-person services; virtual options are not available
- Capability to work with caseloads of approximately 55 students
- Willingness to collaborate with SLPAs for student support
- Valid driver’s license, as occasional travel (with mileage reimbursement) to Monument Peak may be required
- Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
- Preference will be given to those who include an updated resume, availability for interviews, location/caseload preference, and verification of credentials
Your responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, in-person speech and language therapy to students in K-12, with most caseloads K-6
- Conduct assessments to develop individualized communication goals
- Prepare and implement therapy plans based on students' needs
- Work closely with SLPAs and school staff to ensure effective student progress
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school/district procedures
- Participate in team meetings, IEPs, and family conferences as needed
This is a 37.5 hour per week contract during the school year, beginning in August and running through early June.
