School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Chapel Hill, North Carolina
An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with school-based experience to support K-12 students in a public school setting. This contracted position is full-time and requires on-site presence in the Raleigh/Chapel Hill, NC area for the current school year.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy services to K-12 students with diverse communication disorders
- Collaborating closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Conducting assessments and progress monitoring to develop and update IEP goals
- Managing all documentation and compliance with school and state guidelines
- Supporting students in-classroom and through pull-out therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings with K-12 populations
- Strong understanding of IEP development, compliance, and collaboration with school teams
- Ability to work independently with no assistance or aides
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
