This position offers an opportunity to work full-time as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school setting, supporting middle school students. The contract runs ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY), providing a rewarding experience delivering speech and language services to help students achieve their communication goals.
Location: North Attleboro, MA
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of middle school students requiring speech and language support.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct therapy.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or SLPA licensure appropriate for school settings.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably middle school students.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.
- Familiarity with educational speech-language protocols and documentation requirements.
