A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-12 students at a school setting in Fort Myers, FL. This role involves providing speech and language therapy services to support student communication needs and ensure educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech therapy services to students across kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs.
- Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and detailed documentation.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote student development.
Qualifications:
- Hold a current SLP-CCC or SLP-CF certification.
- Active Florida Teaching Certification and/or Florida Department of Health SLP License required.
- Experience working in school environments preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills needed to manage caseload effectively.
Position Details:
- Location: Fort Myers, FL.
- Contract role with 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
