A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide specialized support within an early childhood school setting. This position covers a preschool caseload and is available as a contract role from January through the end of the school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and possess a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech and language therapy services to preschool-aged children
- Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to early childhood communication needs
- Collaborating with educators and families to support children's language development
- Maintaining thorough documentation in accordance with school guidelines
- Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Preferred qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and certification (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Experience in early childhood and pediatric speech therapy
- Familiarity with school-based service delivery and educational standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a caseload in a full-time capacity for the duration of the contract
Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island
Duration: Contract through the remainder of the school year (approximately 10 weeks starting in January)
