School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Poulsbo, Washington
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity delivering vital speech and language services to students in a supportive school environment. Multiple positions are available for qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP, SLP-CCC) to serve both elementary and high school students. This is an in-person role stretching from ASAP through June 17, 2027.
Two full-time roles are open (7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week) as well as one part-time position (.8 FTE, 4 days per week). Your skills will help students reach their communication goals in a collaborative setting filled with dedicated educators and support staff.
Qualifications:
- Valid WA SLP license
- ESA certification required
- Completion of OSPI fingerprinting
- Credentials as SLP or SLP-CCC with school-based experience preferred
- Capable of fulfilling the requirements for both elementary and high school placements
- Strong communication skills for working with students, families, teachers, and administrators
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver therapy services, maintain accurate documentation, and track student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support both general education and special education populations
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
