Speech Pathology - Port Orchard, WA
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC certification is sought for the 2026-2027 academic year to support a very small K-12 charter school located in Port Orchard, WA. This contracted position offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse caseload across a broad range of grade levels in a tight-knit educational environment ideal for professionals who value personalized student interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations, therapy, and consultations for K-12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress with clear, professional reporting
- Participate in educational planning meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Manage caseload independently in a smaller school setting
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with a K-12 caseload preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills conducive to collaboration in a small school community
- Ability to manage responsibilities effectively within an independent setting
- Willingness to work as a travel candidate considered
