Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students' needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and evaluations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) development
- Provide consultative support to classroom staff when necessary
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working within educational settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and school personnel
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
