Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience or strong interest in working with middle school students in an educational setting
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Collaborative, solution-focused approach with students and staff
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language assessments, therapy, and interventions for middle school students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student success in and out of the classroom
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and share insights to foster a positive, inclusive educational environment
