A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in pediatrics within a school setting in Portland, OR. This role provides an excellent opportunity to support student communication development through evidence-based interventions and collaborative team efforts. The contract duration is from March through the End of School Year (EOSY), and the position is onsite.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
  • Eligible for or holding a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Skilled in evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy requirements and documentation standards

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
  • Deliver direct, onsite therapeutic services to support speech and language development
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with school guidelines
  • Participate in meetings and professional development as required

Location: Portland, Oregon (onsite at a school site)
