Speech Language Pathologist in Portland, OR
A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, supporting K-12 students in the Portland, OR area. This contract role involves working with two schools, serving students across middle and elementary levels.
Location: Portland, OR (two schools: one high school and one elementary)
Job Duration: Contract through the end of the school year (June 2026)
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluation and therapy services to students in grades K-12
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license issued by the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in school settings preferred; new graduates welcome
Schedule and Caseload:
- Approximately 50% full-time equivalent at one high school
- Approximately 60% full-time equivalent at one elementary school
