Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based, Travel Opportunity
Location: Port St. Lucie & Ft. Pierce, FL
Start Date: ASAP through June 2, 2026
Schedule: Full-time and Part-time options available

This role focuses on providing speech-language pathology services within public schools along the Southeast Florida coast, primarily supporting students with autism through evaluations and interventions. The position requires travel between school sites, including Oak Hammock K-8 in Port St. Lucie and CA Moore K-7 / FK Sweet Elementary in Ft. Pierce. The schedule can be arranged for full-time hours across both schools or part-time assignments split between the locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, particularly for students with autism spectrum disorders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address student communication needs
  • Support caseloads at schools with specialized units such as ASD classrooms and Deaf/Hard of Hearing clusters
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Active SLP licensure required
  • Experience conducting evaluations for autism spectrum disorder preferred
  • Ability to work onsite with reliable transportation for travel between schools
  • Fingerprinting clearance required; may be obtained through Department of Health records
