Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP license with accompanying teaching certification
- Completion of district fingerprinting requirements prior to assignment
- Credentials as SLP-CCC or SLP-CF considered
- Background in pediatric or school-based speech therapy preferred
- Bilingual skills in PreK evaluation are especially valuable
- Experience in healthcare or educational settings is highly regarded
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in an onsite, school-based environment
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress
- Deliver thorough bilingual evaluations for PreK students where applicable
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and support the educational objectives of the district
- Caseload sizes and specifics will be shared during the interview process to ensure the best fit
