A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide Leave of Absence (LOA) coverage at a school setting in Port Orchard, Washington. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to support students with communication needs during the leave period, ensuring continuity of care and therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students, including assessment, treatment planning, and progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support individualized education plans (IEPs) and communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
