Qualifications & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid SLP license in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but CFs are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions
- Collaborate actively with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student needs
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development as required
- Provide resources and strategies to educators and families for classroom and home success
