Step into a dynamic school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position supporting PreK–12 students in a vibrant community near Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. This is a full-time, contract opportunity for SLPs with CCC credentials seeking an on-site role for the 2026–2027 academic year. Professionals in this itinerant position will travel between multiple school locations (sites to be confirmed), collaborating with educators and families to deliver impactful speech and language services to students with mild to moderate needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active FL DOH SLP licensure required
- CCC certification (Clinical Certificate of Competence from ASHA)
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP process and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility to serve both elementary and secondary populations (PreK–12)
- Ability to manage a caseload estimated at 60 students across varied school sites
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a school setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Provide both direct and consultative services across different campuses
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation as required by district and regulatory guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
Notables:
- On-site only role; remote or virtual services are not available
- 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Assignment aligns with the school calendar from August 10, 2026 through May 28, 2027
- Must complete FL fingerprinting/credentialing as outlined, including verification through the AHCA Clearinghouse if applicable
